Backtrack 3 Hard Drive Installation (Infinity Exists)

Backtrack needs no introduction in the security and hacking world. It is probably the best security centric distro out there, with probably one of the most exhaustive collections of security and hacking tools. Backtrack can be used either as a live CD or can be installed into the hard drive. A primer on installing Backtrack 3 on VMware is available here. In this video, the author, Patchy from Infinity Exists guides us excellently through the process of installing Backtrack 3 on the hard drive. As, Backtrack has removed the Grpahical installer in version 3, the process of installation is a bit more involved now.

The video below is very detailed and is probably all the info you would ever need to install Backtrack on the hard drive. Patchy uses the Fdisk program to create the partitions and then mkfs to format these partitions and then proceeds to install Backtrack on the hard drive.  The video is a good quality, which also makes it large in size.
