Hacking Wired and Wireless Keyboards using Electromagnetic Emanations

Marcus Kuhn proved in his paper "Hidden Data Transmission using Electromagnetic Emanations" that it is possible to control the electromagnetic radiation caused by various devices in a computer  using software for good or for bad. Martin and Sylvain from EPFL took this a step forward and created an actual working demo of how it could be possible to create an Electromagnetic emanation based keylogger, which could sniff the key presses from as large a distance as 20 meters.

In these videos, they given us an actual demo of their hadware cum software prototype to create a electromagnetic radiation based keylogger.
