Description:
I received an interesting submission today -
Intypedia project, the Information Security Encyclopedia: a virtual space where you will find interesting videos about the fascinating world of security. This will be your encyclopedia and your studying place. We are looking forward to sharing many hours with you and to make your professional training as amusing as possible.
Through a series of lessons designed by experts in each field, we will cover different aspects of Information Security, like the basics, cryptography history, current encryption methods, authentication and digital signature, network and Internet security, malware, management systems, international standards… just to name a few of the topics.
I think this a great initiative, the only issue is the "machine voice". I would anyday prefer a human narrator, even if he may have a heavy accent to an artificial voice.
The first 4 lectures along with the introduction are embedded below:
1. Introduction to Intypedia
2. History of Cryptography and it's eary stages in Europe
3. Introduction to Symmetric Key Cryptography
4. Public Key Cryptography
More information is available
on their website.
