Netcat Basics (Server Mode)
|
| |
Netcat Server Mode is Part 2 of the video series on Netcat usage basics. In this video we will look at how to use Netcat as a server and bind it to an arbitrary port. We will then listen for inbound connections and process Clients by sending them a very simple text message upon successful connection. From a debugging perspective this is very interesting as it is possible to see the actual data a Client may be sending to the Server. Also it is possible to test the Client side program by sending arbitrary inputs from the Server side.
