Nmap Usage Basics

Nmap or Network Mapper is a popular utility for network exploration or security auditing. Nmap offers useful insights about a network such as which hosts are connected, their operating system (OS) detection, version detection of the services running on those hosts etc. Nmap is well maintained, well documented and open source, thus allowing for potential customization exercises to suit your needs. In the first part of the Video below we will look at the most basic usage of Nmap.
