Description: This documentary (NBC - Unsolved Mysteries) is centered around the story of Kevin Poulsen a.k.a Dark Dante, a phone phreak whose best hack was winning a Porsche by making himself the 102nd caller in an LA radio station contest. Kevin did this hack by taking control the telephone company switches and the incoming call stream into the station's dial in number.
This documentary traces through Kevin's early days as a phone phreaker and how was let off by the FBI multiple times with warnings as he was underage to be arrested. Kevin, however, continued with his hacking and was finally nabbed and sent to prison for around 3 years. Interestingly the FBI received a tip off after the NBC show was bradcasted and was nabbed in a super market. Poulsen, also hid handcuff keys in his contact lens case and when arrested requested the feds to get the case as his contacts were drying up. :)
