Description: BBC's flagship technology programme Click featured an episode where Jacques Erasmus from Prevx demoed how botnets can be purchased over the web and can be used for malicious activity such as sending spam, stealing passwords and for distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks. Jacques demoed how one can spam an email account or bring down a server using distributed denial of service attack using a bot army of 22,000 machines bought over the web.
