Already signed up! :) I am now officially on all 3: SWSE, SMFE and SPSE
Thanks Vivek for creating such valuable courses and certifications, and making it affordable.
Looking forward to some Python Hacking !
Vivek Sir! You're really Rocking. I'm very much Happy to know
about this Python Scripting Primer. I'm eagerly waiting for
the Videos yet to be launched online.Hope they will be Much
more excellent than the previous Metasploit Primer
and previous ones :) :)
Thank You very much sir for another such a good & Open
Source Primer :)
Vivek: I Love you! :D
Just paid the WiFi Course, planning to get the metasploit and Python course as well.
You are doing a real great work here!
Thank you so much :)
Hi there,
while I can't deny that I'm excited about this series, I wonder why isn't it a ruby course rather than python since it would be more useful for metasploit.
Does Python have benefits that Ruby lacks?
Thanks a lot for the great work you do and I wish you all the success that you deserve.
code1101.
Also, I like the way now paying registered students get priority access to the whole material, rather than wait for 52 weeks for the whole thing to be gradually posted. While the casual learner can use the open content to learn from the site.
Really looking forward to this! just recommended a friend to sign up as well.
Thanks all for the responses and support!
IMHO Python has a lot more libraries available than Ruby for security related task. But we are covering a basic Ruby primer with the SMFE already.
Enjoy!
thanks for this course !
do you writing a book for Securitytube Python Scripting Expert (Spse) Course like Backtrack 5 Wireles Penetration Testing and Metasploit Megaprimer ? ?
wow..... Excellent, can't wait till it start. I will definitely give it a shot, freaking awesome. I've been waiting for programming related course.
You are god for us......
We are following you Vivek....
Please keep it up...
Nice Work Vivek,
I have to say that I find fair the fact that you give extra privileges to the registered students.
I am looking forward for your first SPSE video, and I am sure that you're SPSE Video Series will be awesome! :)
ringneckparrot
All hail SecurityTube :)
THANKS ALLOT VIVAK WE R LOKING FORWARD
I am very glad, for the return of my Internet service in Libya, after the war, so I can follow the lessons of education, and make up what I missed from your lessons, with warm wishes to you with more useful knowledge, thank you very much Mr. Vivak.
Ayoub Fakhiri - Benghazi, Libya
This is really interesting.....really busy now but will definitely register soon
Release the videos as you always did. As you said the first time you are only charging for the cert.None will w8 50 years for the videos to come out and you forcing him to pay for the course+cert. very clever shame on you. sorry but thats my opinion. and am right..dont even bother to reply if you dont have something to prove the opposite.
with this you just destroying the ideas about education that you said. you changing the things you have said.
@ned_original I disagree with you
First - he said 1 video / week not 1 video / year? I dunno where you heard 50 years? have the patience to hear properly before you write.
Second - I have taken all 3 of the certifications and don't have an issue paying a small sum of $200 for getting access to the material faster. Vivek has a site and family to run I am sure which require money. How do you propose he do that?
Finally, couple of questions to you - Have you donated any money to SecurityTube? have you paid for the first 2 certifications in exchange for the free education you received? at the very least have you yourself contributed any videos to the security education community. I am guessing your answer is NO to all of these. In your own words - "dont bother to reply if you dont have something to prove the opposite" :)
omg you missing the whole point.all the things you said are against vivek so read what you wrote before you submit the reply. If i had money i would definetely pay. I am also collecting money for the wireless security cert. But again
its not between me and Vivek ..you missing the whole point. Read again what i wrote try to understand what am trying to say and let me put it that way : dont bother reply if you cant read and cant understand common sense.
I totaly agree with the idea of the certification. Its better than donate because you get something in return. OK? now plz read to what problem am referring to and send me your apologize for your misunderstanding at my email:
ned.tnk@gmail.com
sorry but its like am talking to a hamster.
To make myself clear: Am not disrespecting Vivek as people think.Vivek is like God to me.I've learnt so many things because of this Website completely free. My problem is that i dont like
this particular video because it reminds me the common spots.
Just can't wait ......
i have no words to say anything about you.luv u....
cant we all just get along.............
@ned_original.
shame on Vivek? shame on you Sir!
I was very excited when I saw this video and heard that a "community" edition would be available. Apparently one video per week was to be released according to Vivek himself as stated in the video. I kept looking forward to May 2012 when the first video would be released. Well the end of May came and finally a video was released. The video however was Module 5 part 5. This left me dazed and confused thinking to myself "are the videos going to be released in random order for 52 weeks?" Then about a week later the first video in the series was released and I exclaimed "F%(! Yeah!" in a moment of excitement. The videos I thought surely would now finally be released in order one per week. To my disappointment however another month has gone by with no more videos posted. I really would like to hear from Vivek himself what the intentions are with the community edition. If you have changed your mind Vivek then please just say so. I really appreciate everything you do for the security community and I don't want to sound like a greedy asshole. I also understand you would like to see some profit from your hard work and efforts. I just simply do not have the money to spend on these certs right now. I do however think that you either need to make good on your word or offer an explanation as to what happened to the community edition that so many of us were looking forward to. Always remember a man of true character says what he means and means what he says. Thank you again Vivek and I am sure we can all come to an understanding here.
totally agree with you @KernelAngus. Have been checking everyday for the community edition weekly videos for last 1 month. Securitytube, please no more broken promises. At least, dont make a promise to break one.
I wanna say something ..... After reading this two comments. :) If you people really want to learn python scripting then why don't you enroll the course. I mean dude, 250$ is not to big amount that you also know and about course material quality ? that you know how is it. lot's of people are paying for some other courses minimum 1000$ + so why not 250$ ? I don't think for SPSE course 250$ is big amount, if yes then you have to wait my friend :)
@Easy-B0t... may b 250$ is nothing for you but for we people here in Asia, its close to our monthly income... u must know that world is flat only digitally, not economically
Ohh, goody goody! =D Very excited to follow this series. Looks like I'll be busy all summer in front of the computer.
thanx sir.... i just dont know how to thank u for these lectures.... sir can i request for some web application security related videos
Vivek Videos are like magic trick, once they are explained seems so easy. But the trick is to get the patience to find the appropriate information, digest it. understanding it and then apply it.
I have paid considerable more money for courses in college that are completely useless. This information of Vivek has a pragmatic value. It helps consolidate your situation in the market. It teaches a concrete marketable ability. I do not think anyone has the right to criticize a person for charging such a modest amount of money for such a practical information.
hi vivek , firstly thak you for your efforts , i working on how to get credentials of users how uses RDP but these credentials are stored in winlogon.exe which is not accessible as there are two sessions and RDp working on session 1 which if i use keylogger i can not get the user name and password so please any recommendations on how can i get the entries of winlogon.exe
hint: you could get session 1 credentials using metaspliot but it's not suitable for me to use metaspliot so i need any other recommendation aslo i used python to make arp poisoning sscript and keylogger but keylogger was successful with session0 notsession1
I am slightly confused. I paid for the course, but I am not sure how I access the student portal for the SPSE course. Can someone help me out please? Thanks!
