Description: In Netbios Basics Part-1 we looked at how to find out a computer's workgroup and Netbios name, and then connect to the C$ share. In this video we will look at how to find shares on a destination computer and how to connect to them using the Smbclient utility . Then we will use the Smbmount utility to mount the remote file system onto a local directory. This is very useful when you desire to actively read / write remote files. In the end we will look at the Nmblookup utility and its basic usage. Links:
