Description: AireplayNG is a part of AircrackNG suite of products and is used for re-injecting wireless 802.11 frames on to the specified channel. The main aim of aireplay-NG is to generate large amount of traffic so that it can be used later for cracking the WEP or WPA-PSK keys with the help of aircrack-NG. The input to Aireplay-NG will be either the pcap file which needs to be injected or the interface name, as aireplay-NG is even capable of capturing packets on the wireless interface.

There are 4 types of command lines options that can be given to aireplayNG.

  • Filtering options: Used on packets captured on interface/ read from file
  • Replay options: Used while re-injection
  • Attack method: The attack to be used while re-injection

In this Aireplay-NG tutorial video series, this video explains the process of WEP cracking in detail and explains the exact role of aireplay-NG in WEP cracking. Following 4 videos talk about the correct usage of the above options and also demonstrate all the options in detail.
