Description: Hardware hacking can be intimidating for hobbyist hackers, but it doesn’t need to be. This talk shares some basic hardware hacking tools and techniques you can combine with a “figure it out as you go” attitude to start doing your own hardware enhancements without an engineering background. Kevin will teach these concepts through a real world example – how to inspect the workings of a $12 RFID lock off Ebay and turn it into an RFID snooper for EM400 and HID cards.
